5 Days Gorilla Safari in Rwanda & Uganda

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]A 5Days Gorilla Safari Rwanda will take you for gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda and then cross over to Uganda for Chimp tracking there as well as wildlife tour.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park.
After breakfast, you will depart Kigali for Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda crossing via the Katuna border arriving early in the evening. Time allowing, you may go for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Enganzi Lodge(Deluxe)/Katara Lodge (Luxury).

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and boat cruise.
This morning, you will set off to Karinju forest where you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the chimpanzees before entering the forest for chimpanzee tracking. You will encounter other primates as colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and then in the afternoon, go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel for a view of lots of game as hippos,  crocodiles, buffaloes, as well as a variety of bird species. Dinner and overnight (day 1).

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes national park
In the morning after breakfast, you will set off a scenic long to Volcanoes national park in Rwanda through the Ishasha sector where you will have a game drive in search of tree climbing lions. You will cross via the Cyanika border reaching Volcanoes NP in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Le Bambou gorilla lodge(Deluxe)/Mountain Gorilla  View Lodge/Muhabura Hotel.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking and cultural walk
You will wake up early for breakfast and then transfer to the park headquarters by 7:00 am to start the briefing about the dos and don’ts with the gorillas. You will then be allocated the gorilla tracking group and then the driver will drive you up to the starting point of the gorilla tracking group allocated and then ascend the forest for the memorable adventure. Once you see the gorillas, a maximum of one hour is allowed to stay with them before descending back to the starting point.  On the descent, you will meet your driver/guide and drive back to your Lodge for refreshment. In the evening, you may go for a cultural walk to Iby’wachu where you will be entertained in Banyarwanda traditional songs and learn more about their culture. Dinner and overnight (day 3)

Day 5: Golden Monkey tracking and transfer back to Kigali
In the morning after an early breakfast, you will gather at the park headquarters for the briefing before ascending the forest for golden monkey tracking where you will enjoy their play in the forest in search of food. 5Days Gorilla Safari Rwanda, On return, you will set off back to  Kigali reaching early for shopping if necessary and later transfer to the airport to check-in for your departure flight if on schedule.
