Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali Airport and Transfer to Volcanoes National park
Upon arrival at Kigali airport, your driver/guide shall receive you and then transfer you to Volcanoes National Park with an en-route scenic view of the escarpments and Virunga Mountain Ranges. Time allowing, you may opt to have a short tour of Kigali city before transferring to Volcanoes National park where you will visit the local market, Gisozi genocide museum among others. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/Le bambou Gorilla Lodge/Muhabura Hotel.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and transfer back to Kigali
You shall wake up early for breakfast, prepare your gorilla trekking gear, take a packed lunch, enough bottled drinking water, and head to the park headquarters for briefing at 7 am about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. You will then be allocated a gorilla family and head into the forest by 8:30 in search of these amazing apes. 2Days Rwanda Gorilla safari, This will take 2-6 hours depending on the gorilla family allocated as well as their movement in their natural wild. After spending one hour in presence of the gorillas, descend back and your driver will transfer you back to Kigali reaching in the evening.
