15 Days Uganda Safari Adventure

This 15 Days Uganda Tour highlights gorilla tracking, chimpanzee trekking, game drive, and viewing, nature walks as well cultural tours among other tour activities among the most visited touristic destinations. The 15 days tour will start and end in Entebbe.

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
You will be picked from the airport on arrival and transfer to Kampala or stay in Entebbe for overnight at Protea Hotel/Le petit Village/Boma Hotel/Cassia Lodge/airport Guest House/Nexus resort.

Day 2: Kampala City Tour
In the morning, you will be picked from the hotel by 8:00am for a Kampala city tour, and visit Namugongo shrines, where Christian believers were burnt live for failing to denounce their faith, visit the Bahai temple, the only temple in Africa of the Bahai faith, later, visit the National Museum where Uganda cultural regalia are kept. 15 Days Uganda tour, After Lunch, you visit Makerere University, Kasubi Tombs, currently under reconstruction where the Kabakas of Buganda Kingdom were buried, Gadhaffi Mosque, Namirembe Cathedral, Lubaga Cathedral, Lubili King’s palace. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner
and overnight.

Day 3: Jinja Tour
In the morning at 8:30am, you will be picked up from the hotel by the guide/driver and you set off for Jinja tour, with en route visit to the Sezibwa falls, Mabira forest, tea and Sugar estates. You will reach Jinja early enough for lunch and after, you visit the source of the Nile, and then Bujagali falls. Return to Kampala reaching in the evening. Dinner and Overnight stay at your hotel. (Day 1).

Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls
Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will be transferred to Murchison falls national park with a scenic drive to the park and lunch en route. You will have an en-route visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking. 15 Days Uganda tour, Reach Murchison falls national park with a visit to the top of the falls for a remarkable sight and sound of the Nile crushing through a narrow gorge. Dinner and overnight stay at Pakuba Lodge (Deluxe)/Red Chilli Hotel (Budget)/Paraa Safari Lodge (Luxury).

Day 5: Game viewing and Boat cruise to the bottom of the falls
Wake up early for breakfast and embark on a game drive in search for early raisers and predators returning to their hideouts. Expect to view lots of wildlife such as; Elephants, Giraffes, African Lion, Leopard, Jackson’s hartebeest, Uganda Kob, lions, waterbuck, buffaloes among others moving through the lovely savanna grasses. Return to the lodge for lunch and later head for a launch trip on the river Nile rewarding hippos, crocodiles and over 20 unique bird species such as the goliath herons, Egyptian geese, and many more. Dinner and overnight at (Day 4)

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale national park
After a heavy breakfast, you will set off a long drive to Kibale Forest National park, a home to 13 primate species reaching in the evening. 15 Days Uganda tour, The journey goes through beautiful Albertine Rift, county-side homesteads, and banana plantations among others. Reach in the evening and Check-in for dinner and overnight stay at Primates Lodge(Deluxe)/Kyaninga lodge/Crater Safari Lodge (Luxury)/Chimpanzee Guest House (Budget).

Day 7: Chimp habituation Experience/Chimpanzee tracking.
After early morning breakfast, you will proceed to Kanyanchu to start the Chimpanzee habituation experience where you will observe the time-to-time behavior of the chimpanzees returning in the evening. 15 Days Uganda tour, This will give you ample time to take enough photos for the primates, which will apart from the chimps include Colobus Monkeys, Baboons, vervet monkeys among others. Alternatively, you may go for chimpanzee tracking, staying one hour with the chimpanzees. In the afternoon, go for nature walk to Bigodi wetland sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at (Day 6)

Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP.
After your breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP with a wide game view en route for hours like elephants, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, and leopards. Have lunch which will be followed by a tremendous boat cruise along the Kazinga channel for scenic views of the lake Edward and George, Hippos, yawning crocodiles, several water birds like cormorants and Pied kingfisher among the others. Dinner and overnight at Enganzi lodge (Deluxe)/Mweya Safari Lodge/Katara Lodge (Luxury).

Day 9: Game drive and community walk/forest nature walk.
You will wake up for a cup tea and there after meet your guide for an early morning game drive through in the Kasenyi sector. In the afternoon, go for forest nature walk in Imaramagambo forest, where you will see a variety of bird species, and visit the bat cave. You may as well visit the Salt mining area on Lake Katwe or the Kasenyi fishing village. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Game drive and transfer to Bwindi NP.
In the morning after a relaxed breakfast, set off for game Drives in the Ishasha sector in search of tree climbing lions. Depending on the day’s weather, you may be lucky to find them near or enter deep in search of them if them. Proceed to Bwindi NP reaching in the evening for Dinner and Overnight at Bakiga Lodge/Ruhiija Lodge/Gorilla Mist camp.

Day 11: Gorilla trekking adventure and transfer to Mgahinga NP.
You will head to the park headquarters after your breakfast with packed lunch to be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas then proceed to track the gorillas. On return, transfer to Mgahinga NP reaching in the evening for Dinner and overnight at Travelers Hotel/Gahinga Lodge.

Day 12: Golden monkey tracking and cultural walk.
After breakfast, you will go for golden monkey tracking adventure immediately after being briefed by the park rangers. This will also reward you with other primates in Mgahinga NP. In the evening, you may go for a cultural walk to the Batwa community.

Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo and boat cruise.
In the morning, you will set off to Lake Mburo reaching early for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo, which will reward you with view of a variety of birds as well as animals. Dinner and overnight at Mburo Safari Lodge/Mihingo Lodge.

Day 14: Transfer back to Kampala.
After breakfast, go for guided nature walk and later set off to Kampala with en route game drive, and stopover to look at the Royal Drum makers, the Equator -where you will be able to stand and be on both hemispheres at once, arriving in the Kampala in the evening and proceed to Entebbe for overnight at 2Friends Hotel/Boma Hotel/Airport Guest House.

Day 15: Ngamba Island and Departure.
In the morning, you will transfer to Entebbe and take a boat cruise to Ngamba Island for half-day chimp feeding. Your will return to Entebbe and visit the Uganda Wildlife Education centre for the scene tour. Later, transfer to the airport to check-in for your departure flight.

End of tour.
