Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park and game drive.
Our guide will pick you up from hotel in Entebbe or Kampala after breakfast. Set off with your driver guide on a 5-6 hours’ journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Towns of Masaka, Mbarara, & others. You will have a brief stop at the Uganda Equator along Masaka road where you will be able to stand in both the northern, and southern hemispheres and also experiment how water swirls in different directions when placed in the northern and southern hemispheres, take photos and even buy some of the beautiful souvenirs. After your meals, proceed with the journey and as you approach Bushenyi, you will be welcomed by the coolest air ever experienced in Uganda as well as the lush tea plantations on the hilly slopes of Igara and Ishaka, through the Kalinzu Forest Reserve until Queen Elizabeth National Park. Head straight to the lodge, relax as you wait for the evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Enganzi Lodge/Kyambura Game Lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and afternoon boat cruise.
In the morning, transfer to Karinju forest for Chimpanzee tracking where you will encounter other primates like vervet monkeys, colobus monkeys, baboons among others. Embark to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, go for a launch cruise on kazinga channel, famous for the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa, with huge Nile crocodiles, and 611 bird species. Dinner and Overnight (Day 1).
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer back to Kampala.
Early morning, you will go for a game drive along the Kasenyi track in search of early risers before going into hiding. You will see a game like Lions, Leopards, herds of Elephants, and Buffaloes among others In return, you will set off back to Kampala reaching in the evening.
