It is a small village situated among rolling green hills. the village preserves its traditional way of life like farming, animal rearing, growing fruits and vegetables, bee keeping, hunting expeditions, traditional ceremonies, and daily lifestyles of digging, food harvesting, preparation and cooking, playing traditional games.

Historically, Entanda village is estimated to have existed for centuries when the first man Kintu to live on the soil of Buganda kingdom met death that wanted to kill his wife Nambi. It is believed that death spirits called Walumbe in Buganda dug deep pits where they hide and therefore kill people. This can be evidenced by the presence of more than 240 deep pits and some of the Nambi rocks in form of a traditional place of warship.
