1 Day Uganda Gorilla Trek

This 1 Day Uganda Gorilla Trek leads you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Mgahinga National Park to meet mountain gorillas in their habitat. A Day trip to the Uganda Gorillas is more convenient and cost-effective for those with a short time in Africa. The trip starts and ends in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda.

You will track the mountain gorillas in their natural setting within Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Unlike other tours, a  day tour will start early morning from Kigali and end in the evening with a drop-off at the airport or hotel in Kigali. Alternatively, you will pick up from the hotel in Kabale or Kisoro and drive to the Volcanoes National Park in Northern Rwanda. The 1-day trip is optional either visiting Mgahinga gorilla national park with 1 habituated gorilla family or Bwindi forest national park with a variety of over 24 habituated gorilla families. Both national parks lie in southwestern Uganda, close to the neighboring country, Rwanda which makes it easier to cross over.

An excursion is ideal for time-saving but most important cost-saving as you spend less on gorilla permits; US$800 compared to a 1 Day Gorilla Trekking Rwanda where a gorilla permit costs US$1500.
