A seven days tour takes you for chimpanzee tracking, gorilla tracking and wildlife safari, starting and ending in Kampala/Entebbe.
Day 1: Kampala – Kibale Forest; Home to 13 primates species.
After breakfast, you will be picked from your hotel in Entebbe at and depart for Kibale Forest National park, arriving in the afternoon. Kibale Forest is a large protected block of rainforest, which has the highest number of primates in Africa such as Chimpanzees, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Red Tailed monkey and Red Colobus. In the afternoon, you may go for evening cultural walk in the Batooro community or nature walk to Amabeere Ga’nyina Mwiru. Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee guesthouse (Budget)/Primates Lodge Kibale(Deluxe)/Kyaninga Lodge(Luxury).
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park.
This morning, you will go for chimp tracking. You will encounter other primates during the tracking. After spending one hour with the chimpanzees, you will have lunch and later transfer to QENP reaching in the evening. Traditional dancer will entertain you in the evening at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Enganzi Lodge/Kyambura Game Lodge/Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat cruise.
After an early cup of coffee, you will go for morning game drives where you will see game as lion, bush buck, water hogs, elephants, and many more. Go back to the Lodge for a late breakfast and take a village walk if time allows. In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel for a view of lots of game as hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, as well as a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi National park.
In the morning, you will set off to Bwindi National park passing via Ishasha sector where you will view the famous tree-climbing lions. Continue and have picnic lunch en route, arriving in Bwindi in the afternoon for dinner and overnight at Bakiga Lodge/Gorilla Mist Camp/Ruhiija Gorilla Lodge.
Day 5: Gorilla Tracking – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
This morning you will have to wake up very early to get ready for Gorilla tracking. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. There are always park guides with you who interpret the flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. In the evening, you will go for community walk where you will interact with the community around and enjoy the nature walk around the park. Dinner and over night at your lodge.(Day 4)
Day 6: Transfer to lake Mburo and boat cruise.
In the morning, you will set off to Lake Mburo reaching early for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo, which will reward you with view of a variety of birds as well as animals. Dinner and overnight at Mburo Safari Lodge/Mihingo Lodge/Eagles Nest Lodge.
Day 7: Transfer back to Kampala and departure if on schedule.
After breakfast, go for guided nature walk and later set off to Kampala with en route game drive, and stopover to look at the Royal Drum makers, the Equator -where you will be able to stand and be on both hemispheres at once, arriving in the Kampala in the evening and transfer to Entebbe for overnight at your Hotel.
