This six days tour will start and end in Kampala extending to Kibale Forest National park for chimpanzee tracking, Queen Elizabeth National park for game safari, Bwindi impenetrable forest national park for gorilla tracking.
Day 1: Kampala – Kibale Forest; Home to 13 primates species.
After breakfast, you will depart Kampala for Kibale Forest National park passing via Mubende and arriving in the afternoon. Kibale Forest is a large protected block of rainforest, which has the highest number of primates in Africa such as Chimpanzees, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Red Tailed monkey and Red Colobus. In the afternoon, you may go for evening cultural walk in the Batooro community or go for Nature Walk to Bigodi Wetland Santuary. Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee guest House/Primates Lodge Kibale/ Kyaninga Lodge/Crater Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
This morning, you will go for chimp tracking. Spend the whole morning in the forest. After tracking, you will have lunch and later transfer to QENP reaching in the evening with game drive en route. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari Lodge/Enganzi Lodge/Kyambura Game Lodge.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat cruise.
After an early cup of coffee, you will go for morning game drives where you will see game as lion, bush buck, water hogs, elephants, and many more. Go back to the Lodge for a late breakfast and relax at the swimming pool. In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel for a view of lots of game as hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, as well as a variety of bird species. Dinner and overnight (day 2).
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi National park.
In the morning, you will set off to Bwindi National park passing via Ishasha sector where you will view the famous tree-climbing lions. Continue and have picnic lunch en route, arriving in Bwindi in the afternoon for dinner and overnight at Bakiga Lodge/Gorilla Mist camp/Ruhiija lodge.
Day 5: Gorilla Tracking – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
This morning you will have to wake up very early to get ready for Gorilla tracking. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. There are always park guides with you who interpret the flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. In the evening, you may go for cultural walk to batwa community. Dinner and over night at your lodge.(Day 5)
Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala.
After breakfast, set off to Kampala with stopover to look at the Royal Drum makers, the Equator -where you will be able to stand and be on both hemispheres at once, arriving in the Kampala in the evening.
